A 29-year-old Vegas resident who was speeding on a Ducati Superbike in the northwest valley, and crashed into a white Dodge Journey making a U-turn, has subsequently died from his injuries. The crash occurred around 7:37 PM on West Deer Springs Way, near North Durango Drive. The 34-year-old woman driving the Dodge sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to UMC for treatment.
Metro police did not comment on whether impairment was a cause for the crash. The Clark County Coroner’s office will release the identity of the motorcyclist pending notification of kin. According to various sources, this crash is the tenth fatality involving vehicles in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2020.
