The Associated Press notes that Measure B was passed by voters in Medocino County yesterday, repealing a measure that set fairly liberal quantity limits on the amount of marijuana a medical marijuana patient can grow under state law.
The reporter includes no discussion of People v. Kelly , the recent Second District Court of Appeal case that deals directly with quantity limits. In the wake of Kelly, however, both the higher quantity limits that Medocino County previously had in place and the lower limits that will apparently be in place now are probably not on entirely solid legal footing.
